What can I say about CERVUS? Superb, Excellent, Highly Professional, contractor. We’re a family of EV vehicles for over 2 years. We’ve been thinking of getting solar power for our home not only because it’s environmentally better, but also to reduce our energy bill. I found CERVUS and discussed the plan with Peter. From the get go, Peter was on it. He asked to see our bills so he can do an analysis and recommend the proper amount of panels needed for our home. He and his team worked with our AHJ to obtain the proper permits and started the work as scheduled. CERVUS foreman, Javier, was another godsend. He made sure his team was there on time and provided quality service. When we got solar panels, we also upgraded our electrical panel to a 200a panel. There was some demo on our stucco wall, and Javier patched it back up like it never happened. After all of the work was completed Peter personally came by to connect the system to our WiFi and phones and to do a final check on their installation. What a great experience I had with Peter and Cervus. Got several quotes and Cervus was the best and they were also a local solar company and not a broker. Peter and his crew came out promptly and assessed the roof to submit to the city. Inspection passed with one minor change and off it went to Edison for final approval and permission to operate. It took longer than expected, not because of Cervus, but SCE was backlogged with tons of applications due to NEM2 deadline. Even during the long process, Peter checked on me oftentimes to give me updates. He has been always professional and courteous during the whole process. I received multiple quotes from other Solar installers before deciding to go with CERVUS and they either A) charge way over market rate and tried to hide it behind a longer loan term B) install cheap no-name panels to get you a price that looks appealing C) communicate terribly, where I actively had to follow up on my own emails and calls (god forbid you have an issue).

CERVUS was the opposite of all that. The quote was fair and at market rate, the panels they install are well known panels with great reviews from a trusted solar manufacturer with warranty, and the communication from start to finish with every member of their team was excellent.

Keep in mind that the quality of people who you will work with on your solar project is just as important as the project itself. Peter and the whole CERVUS team are top tier.
